Throughout the year, we offer a diverse calendar of events designed to educate, inspire, and connect gardeners in our community. From hands-on workshops to major community festivals, there are opportunities for gardeners of all skill levels to learn and participate.

Annual Events

Spring Garden Fair
Our flagship event featuring plant sales, workshops, and vendor booths. First Saturday of May.
Seeds of Spring
Late-winter event covering seed starting, garden planning, and soil preparation.
County Fair
Educational booth at the summer county fair with plant answers and Extension publications.
Awards Celebration
Annual gathering to recognize volunteers and welcome new Master Gardeners.

Educational Workshops

Our evening and weekend workshop series covers timely gardening topics throughout the year. Sessions are taught by Master Gardeners, Extension specialists, and guest experts.

Workshops are typically held at the Extension office or community venues. Some programs are offered free, while others have a modest fee to cover materials.

Demonstration Garden Tours

Our demonstration gardens showcase sustainable practices adapted to local conditions. Periodic tours offer opportunities to see these techniques in action and ask questions of the Master Gardeners who maintain them.

Youth Programs

Inspiring the next generation of gardeners is central to our mission. Youth programs include:
