Annual Spring Garden Fair

The Spring Garden Fair is our signature annual event and a beloved community tradition. Each spring, gardeners gather to celebrate the new growing season with plant sales, educational workshops, expert demonstrations, and vendor booths featuring garden art, tools, and supplies.

Event Highlights

Vegetable seedlings for sale
Master Gardener Plant Sale

Thousands of locally propagated plants from our volunteer greenhouse. Arrive early for the best selection of vegetables, herbs, perennials, and specialty varieties.

Educational Workshops

Free workshops on vegetable gardening, composting, pest management, water-wise landscaping, and more - taught by Master Gardener volunteers.

Vendor Booths

Local nurseries, garden artisans, and suppliers exhibit unique garden art, quality tools, specialty plants, and accessories.

Ask a Master Gardener

Our Plant Clinic operates throughout the fair. Bring your gardening questions, plant samples, or photographs for free diagnostic help from trained volunteers.

Supporting Our Community

The Spring Garden Fair is our primary fundraising event. Proceeds from plant sales, vendor fees, and sponsorships support:

Free community education programs
Plant Clinic operations
Demonstration garden maintenance
Youth gardening initiatives
Scholarships for horticulture students

According to the American Horticultural Society, community gardening events play a vital role in connecting people with plants and promoting environmental stewardship.
